The Whisky Cabinet is a digital companion to whisky tasting. It brings the drams poured at a venue into your hand: a curated library of whiskies with tasting notes, flavour profiles and distillery stories, organised into flights you can follow at your own pace.

Beyond the library, you can scan a bottle label with your phone and let the app identify the dram, browse the full Whisky Cabinet collection, cast a vote in the People's Choice leaderboard, and share your own notes with other drinkers in the community. Members' Club members add a private cabinet of their own — the bottles they own, the ones they are hunting for, and the stories behind each pour — alongside an invite programme that rewards bringing friends into the club.

It is built for guests at our partner venues — hotels, bars, restaurants and distilleries — who want to know more about what is in their glass while they are sat with it. It is equally for anyone who keeps whisky at home: collectors cataloguing a shelf, enthusiasts comparing regions and expressions, and friends swapping recommendations.

Venues use it too. Each partner gets a collection of their own, drawn from their actual shelves, together with anonymous analytics about which drams their guests explore most.

The Whisky Cabinet is designed, built and maintained by Tweed Valley Digital, a digital studio in the Scottish Borders, working in partnership with the venues themselves — among them SCHLOSS Roxburghe in the Borders. Every collection, tasting note and feature in the app is put together with the people who pour the whisky, so what you read on screen matches what is on the shelf.
